Deacon Ulysse Joubert and his wife, Glenda, have been married since 1968.  They have four children (Jean-Paul, Andree, Angelique, and Jacques) and six grandchildren.  Deacon Joubert is principal of Park Vista Elementary and Glenda is a first grade teacher at Grolee Elementary.

Some of Deacon Joubert’s duties include assisting at Mass, reading the gospel, and giving the homily.  He also teaches the confirmation class, instructs a weekly Bible class, brings communion to the homebound, officiates at baptisms and weddings, and leads a weekly communion service at Evergreen Village. 

His wife Glenda Joubert is a lector, substitute Eucharistic minister, and teacher / coordinator of the first communion class. 

Their youngest son Jacques has been an altar server since 1992.
