Born to A. B. & Josephine Castille on 12-04-46,  Harold was raised on a farm and is number 6 of 8 children.  He attended Church Point High School and graduated in 1966 when he joined the United States Air Force (1966-1970).  He married the former Catherine Moreau on April 15, 1967.  They have two children and 8 grand children.  Harold was a truck driver for 12 years and later he was self-employed in the oil & gas production for 15 years.  He retired from the Louisiana D.O.T.D. after 12 years, in December of 2008.  He started working as Our Lady of Mercy's Maintenance Engineer at that time.  Harold has been our Head Sacristan for the last 10 years or more.  He is outstanding at keeping our Church running at top proficiency.
